Main Retable – Carreço

18^th century polychromed and gilded altarpiece.

Treatments: Disinfestation and wood disinfection. Replacement of deteriorated structural woods followed by traditional gilding of the niche and throne after severe water infiltration. Retouching on the wall behind the niche.

Location: Parish Church of Carreço, Viana do Castelo, Portugal.
